Position: Sr. Merchandiser (Hobbies & Crafts)
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for electrical/digital/technology products (shredders, digital cutters, digital frames, recordable albums)
-Experience in developing technology products with a good understanding of defect testing
-Proactively locate and qualify new vendors.
-Work closely with PDE on product development and with PE on production control.
-Able to perform initial risk and assessment in terms of factory’s capability and capacity
-Proactively provide clients with new innovative product ideas
Requirements:
-Mechanical Engineering Background
-Solid understanding of compact gear driven systems and 3 axis cutters like XY cutting machine
-At least 3 years factory/merchandising experience on PCD (Printed Circuit Design) and auto-control market.
-GUI (software interface) experience like digital printer/vinyl cutter.
-International perspective, career minded, results driven & well organized
-Good negotiation skills and familiar with BOM analysis and timeline creation.
-Strong project management and problem solving skills.
-Think strategically on each task and ensure all the risks are well assessed and covered with contingency plan.
-High level of integrity, accountability and responsibility
-Good command of both spoken English and written English
